Happy New Year 2011!

Happy New Year 2011!
My New Year's Resolution is to finish Aalish.


2 feet with ankle ball-joints attached
2 lower legs with knee ball-joints attached
2 upper legs with hip ball-joints attached
1 lower torso with hip sockets and torso ball-joint attached
1 upper torso with torso socket, arm sockets, and neck ball-joint attached
2 upper arms with shoulder ball-joints attached
2 lower arms with elbow ball-joints attached
2 hands with wrist ball-joints attached
1 head with neck socket, eye sockets, and skull cap attachments
1 skull cap with attachment tabs

All the above pieces need the following:
- finish sculpting
- smooth
- rough shell mold
- carving wax cast
- smooth with tulle
- slip casting mold
- cast in slip

All pieces need to be assembled and test strung after
being cast in carving wax, but before the final slip
casting mold is made. Make necessary tensioning
adjustments to carving wax parts before making
the final slip casting plaster molds.

Bake all parts in the oven at 200 degrees Fahrenheit for 2 hours to cure.
Finish holes and slots for stringing.
Refine and finish eye sockets.
Insert eyes.
Face-up and body blush all parts.
Stringing assembly of all parts.

Make wig.
Make clothing.
Make shoes.
Make accessories.
Photograph finished BJD.

Start new 80cm BJD.
