03 Armature Nº 18

I drilled the holes for the arms and the legs in the torso, cut the wires, and inserted them into the holes.

This is an oblique view.

I drilled the holes about two inches into the torso.

I am currently working with the two-stranded wire. As I work with it, I am thinking that I will probably use it to get the armature set up, then I will change to the four-stranded wire because it is so much sturdier. The holes in the torso are already drilled for the two-stranded wire, so I will be able to use them as pilot holes to drill the holes for the four-stranded wire. Otherwise, I will be able to get all the measurements for the four-stranded wire, from the two-stranded wire.
