08 Joint Design Nº 39

When I am not sure what to do next, I always have plenty of work to do, smoothing seams. This is a seam on the outside of the thigh of the right leg.  Click on any image to enlarge it.

First, I used my paring knife to scrape down the wax.

Then I used my wax pen to add wax to the low spots.

Then I used my paring knife to scrape down the wax again, and some sandpaper to smooth the seam.

The actual work is practice, practice and more practice: adding, subtracting, and smoothing repeatedly. Martha Armstrong-Hand
