08 Joint Design Nº 66

After cutting the shoulder sockets in the torso, I noticed that the shoulders were slightly uneven. Using my wooden pottery calipers, I measured both shoulders from a central point in the crotch, and made a mark at the top of the right shoulder, indicating how much carving wax I needed to remove. I used my paring knife to shave the right shoulder down the appropriate amount.

The shoulders are staring to look more even.
