08 Joint Design Nº 89

There are days when I do not think that I can figure out what to do with the ball joints on paper, and other days when I think I can figure it out. Today is one of those days when I think that I can figure out what to do on paper. I am using a matte board cut out circle to figure things out. As often as I change my mind, I am glad that I can do something with paper and pencil first. I use an eraser as well. Pencil, Paper, Eraser. Good tools. I am working on a tracing paper overlay on top of my working drawing. Click on the image to enlarge it.

I do not even need an eraser when I put the photo in Kolourpaint and start playing with it. Here I am playing around with the leg and the ball and maybe where I need to cut the hip socket in order to get a 90 degree bend.
