08 Joint Design Nº 98

I am still working on the joint at the top of the lower torso. As I have mentioned before, one of the ways that I add carving wax to a form is by placing pieces of scrap carving wax where I need to add some. Click on any image to enlarge it.

Then I use my wax pen to melt the scrap pieces of carving wax, and at the same time, melt the base carving wax, so they fuse together and become solid.
