08 Joint Design Nº 150

I did the layout for the left hip socket on the lower torso, then scribed a line, 70mm in diameter. Click on any image to enlarge it.

I used my wax pen to make the first cut, a few millimeters inside the scribed line.

I used my paring knife to trim the carving wax out to the 70mm diameter  line. Here, both 70mm matte board circles are inserted in the hip socket holes.

This is a turn-around of the torso sitting on the hip balls in the hip sockets.
