08 Joint Design Nº 175

I laid out the 45 degree cut in the back of the left lower leg's knee joint that I will make, eventually. I've been thinking about it, and it will probably get cut before I fasten the ball joint in place. That way, I won't have to be too careful, working around the carving wax ball. I laid the cut out the same way I did for the other leg, using a combination square, and a bamboo skewer. Afterwards, I went over the scribed lines with an X-Acto knife. Click on any image to enlarge it.

From the looks of this photo, the scribed lines are not exactly equal. I will probably be able to fix that before I make the cut.
