08 Joint Design Nº 209

I drilled a hole through the wrist into the lower right carving wax arm. It was a long hole, measuring just under two inches before the drill bit broke through into the arm cavity. I also drilled a starter hole in the right carving wax hand. Click on any image to enlarge it.

I looked for, and found some small balls to see if they might work for the wrist ball joints. I found two marbles and a hard rubber ball. The small marble is 15mm, the hard rubber ball is 22mm, and the large marble is 24mm. So far, I like the hard rubber ball the best.
