08 Joint Design Nº 235

Since the neck ball is 40mm in diameter, I use a ping-pong ball to close the socket hole in the head. I fasten it in place with some masking tape. Click on any image to enlarge it.

I melt some carving wax in my wax pot.

After pouring the wax into the head, through the hole I drilled, I let the carving wax solidify, then I cool it down with some cold water. This is the freshly cast socket.
