08 Joint Design Nº 328

One of the problems I have when posing this carving wax doll, is the same one I had with Carving Wax Test Doll (from version 2), and that is, the knees twist around. I have this idea about drilling a hole into the knee, and welding a carving wax bar in the hole. Then I would blend the bar into the knee. The upper part of the bar would fit in a notch in the upper leg, keeping the knee from twisting. On one side, the hole is split half way and in the other side, the notch is more shallow. I am leaning towards the shallow notch. Click on any image to enlarge it.
