08 Joint Design Nº 419

I continue to work on the right carving wax hand. I used my jeweler's alcohol lamp and my paring knife to add some length to a couple of fingers. The alcohol lamp is portable, and I took it and the hands up to the kitchen and worked on them there. Does it look like I made any progress? Click on any image to enlarge it.

The actual work is practice, practice and more practice: adding, subtracting, and smoothing repeatedly. ~ Martha Armstrong-Hand (1920-2004)
