08 Joint Design Nº 426

I warmed up my wax pen and proceeded to fill in low spots on the back of the carving wax upper torso with a scrap piece of carving wax. Click on any image to enlarge it.

After filling in the low spots, I used my paring knife to shave the excess carving wax off. Then I sanded the back again with 60-grit sandpaper.

There is still more work to be done, but it is looking better than it did yesterday.

The actual work is practice, practice and more practice: adding, subtracting, and smoothing repeatedly. ~ Martha Armstrong-Hand (1920-2004)
