08 Joint Design Nº 500

Today I used the wax pen to fill in the ankle holes in the lower carving wax legs. Making molds has been a nice diversion from working on carving wax, but I need to continue to refine the carving wax parts before I mold them. These ankle joints will be filled in with molten carving wax, now that the holes have been filled. Those matte board rings will be taken off. I will use the ball joint of the foot to make the molten carving wax curved. As usual, I am sneaking up on this, figuring it out as I go along. Click on any image to enlarge it.
