08 Joint Design Nº 504

I had a nice flat piece of scrap carving wax, so I decided to use it to plug the hole in the top of the lower torso. I cut it out with my paring knife and press fit it into the hole. Click on any image to enlarge it.

I used my wax pen to weld the plug into the hole.

I used my paring knife to scrape away the excess carving wax.

I try to do a little bit of work on my doll every day. A ball-jointed doll is a multimedia figurative sculpture.
