09 Plaster Production Molds Nº 105

I make a template for cutting out the oil-clay build-up. I start by tracing the outline of the lower leg with a pencil and a square. Click on any image to enlarge it.

Next I connect the dots. Then I trace a line about 3mm larger all around. This is the line I will cut.

I use scissors to cut out the profile of the lower leg. I also trimmed the cardboard to 5x10 inches. There is about 1.5 inches all around the leg. That is how thick the plaster mold will be.
