09 Plaster Production Molds Nº 254

I started working on some new coddle boards. These are made from pieces of scrap wood. I still have to find one more piece of plywood that is large enough. I coat each board with at least three coats of orange shellac to seal it. Click on any image to enlarge it.

I am also working on getting each side of the build-up as straight as I can. I do not have a lot of clay left, so I must have a very tight fit for this mold piece. If any plaster leaks through, there will be mostly empty space for it to fill, instead of a very small space.
