09 Plaster Production Molds Nº 275

I applied the parting agent. The important principle to know is that plaster sticks to plaster. So don't forget to apply a parting agent. Click on any image to enlarge it.

I mixed the plaster and poured it. Always add plaster to water. I used the mold table vibrator. I really need to remember to buy a switch for the vibrator. Plugging and unplugging the cord to turn the vibrator on and off is a bother. I washed off my hands, tools, and mixing container in a 5-gallon bucket of water. Never put plaster (dry, wet, or set) down the drain pipes.

I had to take a snapshot of this unusual coddle setup. I really needed two more hands to make it straight. I did the best I could with the two hands I have. The good news is, I didn't see any leaks around the bottom of the coddles. Yay !!!. Two more mold pieces to go to finish the mold for the upper torso.
